US Weekly and other oddities.

As you may or may not know, French house gets a subscription to US Weekly courtesy of Samantha Smith who lived here a long time ago and no one remembers. Hey, it is free, and she did not leave a forwarding address. Anyway, I'm checking it out this evening while procrastinating, and I notice an article about the new season of CSI. The Last line paraphrased ~ And while in a remote location Grisom sleeps with one of his fellow CSIs. scandalous.

Now is this a sneaky way of saying that they have to share a hotel room while in the sticks, and they "sleep" in a room together, or is this serious, as in sleep together = sex? I am intrigued, but somehow I think it is kind of like the Greg and Sara taking a shower together thing. BLARGH!

WOW. That is all I have to say about that.

In other news... I went to see Flight Plan with Erin, Madamanda, and Madamanda's parents on Saturday. The movie was good, but it had its "how 'bout that?" momments. The cinematography(sp?) was fantabulous! the oddest part of the entire evening, occured when we first walked into the theater. There was a man in a suit and tie giving the audience a lecture about the new digital format/ don't talk or we'll kick you out/ donate to Hurricane Katrina spiel. (apparently there theater has some new digital technology that is supposed to be "sweat" and make your chair move. This did not happen BTW) Now I did not pay for this, and it kind of ruined the momment. Usually when you get to the theater early enough hilarity ensues as you chat with your friends nad make fun of the goofy commercials. This did not happen. Dude in the tie was annoying and oh so odd. Very odd.
